Only recently, after a long and hard fought procedure, Viroc International Limited was awarded the single largest ever contract issued by the Armed Forces of Malta.  The historic relationship between CANTIERE NAVALE VITTORIA SPA and Viroc International Limited was at the forefront of this collaboration, with our Principals once again placing their full trust in the Company and its extensive experience in the field.  The Company beat eleven other bidders and shipyards to win this project, amongst which were some of the biggest shipyards in the world, thus making this result even more memorable and historic.

The vessel is 73 meters in length with a moulded breath of 13 meters and a top speed pf more than 20 knots.  It is equipped with a 2D Air Surveillance radar as well as state of the art weaponry, a flight deck allowing the fleets’ three AW139’s (also supplied by Viroc International) to land, take off and operate as well as Helicopter refuelling facilities.  The two Rhibs will have a maximum speed of more than 40 knots. .
